Once we have received your application we will contact you to discuss the dog you
are interested in or any others that we might have that would be a good fit for
your family. We will then schedule a home visit, once that is done and you have
passed, we can set up a meet and greet with the dog. This is to make certain you
are happy with this dog and to see how you both are with each other. If all is well
then the dog is a new member of your family.
We do have in our adoption contract that if, for any reason the dog is not working
out and you notify us within 10 days, we take the dog back and return your adoption
fee. If for any reason after that timeframe you are unable to continue to care for
your Aussie, do to illness, divorce, financial, etc. that Aussie is returned to
us. We never want the dog to become a burden to anyone's family and we request "first
refusal" on every one.
Please remember that adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment.
There is an adoption fee to help pay for some of the expenses that have already
been paid and to help other fosters dogs.
If you are interested in adopting a Aussie, please complete an adoption application.
You can complete an online application or mail us one through snail mail.
